Born in 2009, Matilde Marques spent her elementary school recesses writing rhymes about dreams and animals. Years later, now in high school, her passion for poetry endures – though it has evolved into prose, exploring a wide array of themes. Outside the classroom, she lets her imagination soar by participating in aerial circus arts and dedicating herself to various forms of artistic expression that break free from rigid precision. Writing this book, in collaboration with the Palavras que Contam (Words that Count) team, was a truly special and liberating milestone in her life.
